Manager, F135 Sustainment Programs Earned Value Supervisor

The P&W Earned Value Analysis & Reporting (EVA&R) organization under Military Engines Centers of Excellence (ME COE) is actively looking for a self-motivated and disciplined individual to join the team as Supervisor-M4 Manager-supporting F135 Sustainment Programs. The selected candidate will co-lead a team of approximately 16 deployed Earned Value Analysts supporting critical deliverables related to the execution of the largest defense program in history. This position provisions all Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements for the F135 Program and requires a consistent and well-developed relationship with the Program Office, WBS Managers, and CAMs for each engineering area supporting the F135 Propulsion System, as well as associated matrix organizations such as Program, Planning, and Scheduling (PP&S), Earned Value Center of Excellence (EV COE) , Program Financial Support (PFS), Government Accounting, Contracts, and Business Acquisition Center of Excellence (BACE). This is a unique opportunity to learn government program management requirements that include both EVMS performance and the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) toolset.

The position demands active leadership and proven capacity to manage a diverse array of immediate, mid, and long-term challenges requiring expert guidance to direct reports while ensuring accurate plan status and intervening when modifications are required. Vigorous coordination, obstacle removal, facilitating consensus, and appropriate decision making throughout the monthly business rhythm culminate with the deliverable of both Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) and Roll Forward, and the subsequent Monthly Program Reviews (MPR) with the government agencies overseeing the program execution (i.e. JPO and DCMA).

Bachelor's Degree required
Basic Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience in project management based on P&W's Earned Value Management System (EVMS), that include:
  • Coordinating and leading execution of initial baseline efforts upon contract award
  • Developing and managing informational and interactive analytical dashboards
  • Using data to derive, document, and communicate analytical business insight
  • Creating process flow maps and document standard work
  • Developing EVMS planning and execution strategies based on contract changes
  • Driving application of ACE Tools & Process Improvement
  • Providing on the job training as required to improve team capability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree
  • Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate between a diverse team of individuals
  • Demonstrated history of exercising strict attention to detail
  • Experience with internal & external customer satisfaction focus
  • Experience meeting the aggressive demands of military compliance programs
