The P&W Military Engines Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) & Turbojet (TJ) Business Unit, located in West Palm Beach, Florida has an immediate opening for a high-energy, analytical, and strategic Program Integration Manager (PIM). Do you have the experience to join our team?

The APU & TJ PIM coordinates information flow and develops, utilizes and supports a robust technological toolset in support of general business health reporting and process maturity improvement initiatives across the entire APU & TJ Program Management Office (PMO). The PIM collects and analyzes key program and business metrics and is responsible for reporting to senior leadership. The PIM is a key member of the process improvement team and thinks creatively and acts autonomously to implement processes in support of the PMOâ€s process maturity and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will report to the APU & TJ Business Process Improvement Leader.

Key job responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintaining strong internal communications and relationships to ensure effective and efficient execution of contract and proposal requirements
  • Coordinating and standardizing major internal program and functional discussions such as, Integrated Product Management Team (IPMT) meetings and Monthly Program Reviews
  • Managing the PMO scorecard, which includes various reporting elements such as proposal OTD, Original Equipment and Aftermarket hardware and data OTD to both MRP and contractual requirements, customer MFA and CPAR responses, quality escapes, team training requirements OTD, and financial performance to plan
  • Managing and continuing to develop collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Qlik, Slack, OneNote, Yammer, etc.
  • Preparing for, participating in and supporting ACE site certification assessments and audits ensuring follow-through and closure on all site action items.
  • Facilitating and/or supporting events to help improve core business processes to achieve APU & TJ PMO process maturity objectives
  • Management of Program Management Instruction (PMI) documents

Education:

B.S. required; a degree in Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, supply chain and materials, and/or project engineering
  • 5+ years of giving presentations to a professionally diverse audience that includes leadership and customers
  • 5+ years of experience in IT continuous improvement projects and process maturity
  • 5+ years of experience in teamwork and communication tools (such as SharePoint, Slack, Qlik, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results across a complex, cross-functional organization â€" evidence on what has been accomplished and how it was handled
  • Demonstrated superior business judgment, leadership, and time management
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP system
  • ACE Associate or Practitioner certification
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Harbor a high EQ, demonstrating a past ability to lead and influence through a transformative period
  • Be a person with a positive, “can-do” attitude, sporting energy, enthusiasm, an analytical approach and a history of ingenuity
  • Understand complex technological issues at a level that you can drive to closure and clearly communicate status to internal stakeholders
  • Comfort and savvy to interact with all levels, including executive leadership, customers and suppliers
  • Have energy and a passion for solving tough problems in a fast-paced environment, and maintain the ability to do so by empowering, motivating and influencing people


US Citizenship status required due to government contracts.

Ability to travel is required domestically and internationally up to 10%.

Must have or be willing to obtain a valid US Passport.
