What You Will Be Doing: This position is for a design engineering position at our Columbus, GA forging and blades manufacturing facility. Tasks would include: Conducting performance tests and stress analyses Creating layouts, sketches, and blueprints Application of research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical hardware/components (specifically airfoils and forged disks) Building finite element models Optimize designs for cost, weight, and performance Develop process and methodology improvements Research, design, and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.

Engineering Organizations: Columbus Georgia Engineering Team - Airfoil and Forge Business Engineering Focus Areas: Design, Materials, Mechanical, Product Definition, Project, Structural

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering required 3.0 GPA minimum required

Preferred Qualifications: Previous Engineering internships preferred Firm grasp of engineering fundamentals
