Experience/Qualifications

Some of the primary responsibilities of this role are:

  •          Develop systemic approach to evaluate potential future part shortages and implement early action to preclude such part shortages

  •          Drive a holistic part supply solution accounting for factors such as "used serviceable" part availability, 3rd party material providers, repair yields, etc.

  •          Develop & maintain robust processes to communicate part delivery commits

  •          Implement innovative means by which to identify and subsequently mitigate potential issues relative to delivery

  •          Interface with respective executives relative to issue mitigation, as required

  •          Working with Aftermarket, create and maintain five year spare part forecast

  •          Track critical parts for the program that have been identified, communicate customer needs and work stop dates, provide MRP recovery analysis, monitor daily deliveries, investigate missed promises and communicate new delivery stream

  •          Utilize SAP, QLIK Database, and other mainframe programs to perform functions of the position (i.e. providing delivery commitments, evaluating adequate demand, confirming warehouse inventories, etc.)

    Superior written and oral communication skills and demonstrated leadership skills required. A successful candidate will be detail and results oriented with good problem solving skills, able to meet commitments, and balance to resolve conflicting priorities. Understanding strategic and business implications and working to provide solutions will be critical. Must have demonstrated experience working with executive level management and be a high energy - dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement.

    Final job grade will be determined based on your experience level.

    Basic Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Project Management.
    • 7 years of experience in Operations Management or Productions Management.
    • US Person is required for this role.


    Preferred:
    • Master's Degree in business, supply chain management, project management or a related discipline
    • 5 years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement or a related field.
    • Primavera experience is helpful.
    • Outstanding teammate with good interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated and detailed task oriented.
    • Ability to work independently with little direct supervisory input or direction.
