As a Structures Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating the structural integrity of gas turbine parts including pre/post process FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure deflections, fatigue life, crack growth life and frequencies are within margins.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering is required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien status is required.
- Academic or previous technical intern experience designing hardware, analyzing test data, conducting finite element or structural analysis.
- Experience designing or analyzing gas turbine engine hardware are a plus.
- Demonstrated strong teaming and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ANSYS FEA package preferred
- Proficient with MS office (excel, power-point, word)
- Familiarity with UG CAD a plus
