We have a rare opportunity for a Financial Analyst role in East Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will collaborate with MC&O Finance and Materials & Operations. Specifically, this role strongly supports finances for the Cases Business Unit and the Capital Investment Team.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a Business Unit Controller and provide ad-hoc and daily financial support for the Cases Business Divisions, as well as Financial closing and reporting duties such as but not limited to MRP and CAPEX

  • Handle CAPEX monthly reporting/forecasting, OMM Planning and preparation of project eCars

  • Analyze overhead cost and part cost variances and present to Senior Management

  • Lead Financial WOC Focal for the Tanker program; assist in cost analysis, seek cost reduction opportunities, and aid in preparing WOC presentations

  • You will assist in preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual OMM planning cycle; and also support special projects as required.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.


    Basic Qualifications:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years' of Accounting or Finance experience required with bachelor's degree or 4 + years' experience of accounting/ finance with master's degree

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.

  • US Citizenship required due to federal contracts

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • You can work with a diverse cross-functional team environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills partnership, leadership skills, confirmed ability to deliver results

  • Proven analytical and social skills

  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Office Excel & Powerpoint

  • Experience with eSourcing and eCar is a huge plus
