Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization is a dynamic organization with significant growth challenges over the next 10 years. The organization is currently focused on its sourcing strategy for commercial P&W Pure Power geared turbofan engine and the military F135 Joint Strike Fighter. The combination of these engine programs will result in unprecedented procurement volume. Currently P&W GSC manages $6B in product spend and $1.5B of non-product spend. In addition, the team manages the annual material overhead (MOH) budget of ~$410m.

This position requires candidate with the ability to working in a challenging cross-functional team environment. The candidate should also be able to provide a high level of customer support along with a focus on driving business process and results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide contract negotiation support, part cost forecast, and tactical sourcing decision support for the Fan and IBRs commodity suppliers.
  • Prepare and support monthly Cold Section Mod Center Finance update with Mod Center leadership team.
  • Support GSC mod center performance reporting requirements pertaining to operating expenses, inventory, part cost and period cost.
  • Responsible for the monthly MOH operating expense closing process, monthly MML and OMM including long range planning.
  • Support GSC ad hoc requirements for driving part cost and inventory reduction as well as cash flow improvement
  • Assist with GSCâ€s annual eSOX testing
  • Supporting ACE initiatives for continuous improvement opportunities in GSC

Basic Qualifications:

7+ yrs of experience in a finance/accounting role with a Bachelorâ€s degree in Accounting or Finance OR 5+ yrs experience in a finance/accounting role with an advanced degree

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA is a plus

Strong MS Office Application & SAP experience

HFM and/or Business Warehouse proficiency is a plus

Organized with strong written and verbal communication

Strong data analytics skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or team at all levels
