The PW Austin Quality organization is seeking an Industrial Computed Tomography Scan Operator, as part of Quality & Process Engineering. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operate an industrial CT scanner using X-Ray energy performing inspection operations according to established Technique Sheets/Travelers under direct supervision from a Level 2 scanning operator, or higher
  • Assist with equipment maintenance with a Level 2 scanning operator, or higher
  • Job location is in Austin Texas and training will be completed on shift 1 (9AM to 6PM). After training is complete, this position will work shift 2 (6PM to 2AM) Monday through Friday.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Associateâ€s Degree
  •  1+ years of experience working in the area of inspection of machined aircraft engine components for military and commercial customers, to include experience working with ISO-9001 quality systems standards
  • US citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training or experience in Computed tomography is preferred, experience in metrology a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret guidance materials
  • Experience in aviation related quality systems preferred
  • Ability to follow written work instructions written in English
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • A focus on non-destructive testing (NDT), quality systems or metrology technologies is preferred
  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities
  • High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement
  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
