To meet our growing aftermarket market share and entry into service the NEO and GTF programs, Aftermarket Quality has the need for a Quality Assurance Sector Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing our DAT (Disassembly Assembly Test) and DSP (Designated Service Partners) aviation maintenance business partners worldwide
  • Assess DAT and DSPs compliance to P&W requirements and provide guidance on matters related to quality
  • Conduct independent annual audits
  • Support global quality assurance teams, to resolve problems and improve processes
  • Develop and nurture relationships with regulatory agencies
  • Review regulatory changes and assess impact(s) and communicate as appropriate
  • Help development of aftermarket procedures affecting DAT and DSP partners
  • Assess production & process readiness for the DATs and DSPs complaint to industry requirements
  • Support safety board investigation as per Part 145.221 or FAR 21.3 regulatory requirements
  • Support senior and local Corrective Action Boards


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelorâ€s Degree and 5+ years of experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, and/or aerospace OR Advanced Degree and 3+ years of same experience
  • US citizenship required due to government contracts


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in aero-engine component repair environment
  • Understanding of various Civil Aviation Part 145 Regulations (FAA, EASA, CAAC, CAAS, etc.)
  • Experience in applying ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9110
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills, with strong quality leadership skills
  • Good analytical skills to develop monitor and interpret key metrics and business indicators
  • Strong drive for continuous process improvements
