We are actively hiring for an Associate Director, Program Management to support the F135 program!
The F135 Program/ Affordability Manager is a highly measurable position within the Program Management Office responsible for successful execution of the product cost management process.
Lead the F135 Product Cost Reduction Team to drive Propulsion System Affordability across the P&W enterprise through configuration changes, producibility enhancements, Supply Chain and process improvement initiatives.
Actively manage affordability budgets and ensure prudent investment decisions that maximize cost reduction and if possible improve component or process capability and Supply Chain capacity.
Ensure the portfolio of affordability initiatives is making the intended progress, identify risks and drive mitigation through Executive and organizational engagement.
The F135 Affordability Manager position offers the opportunity to positively impact the future of the F135 Program, to directly support Military Engines and P&W Leadership, to work with all major organizations within P&W and to work closely with our F-35 Joint Program Office customer and LiftSystem provider Rolls Royce.
A successful candidate will have the ability to build trust and strong working relationships with customers, partners and internal organizations.
The affordability Manager will also supervise a direct report located at the customer office in Washington DC. Responsibilities will include ensuring close alignment and communication in order to enable successful customer engagement.
- Bachelor's degree required

- US Citizenship required due to government contracts
- 10 + years' of professional work experience
- Knowledge of aerospace industry or gas turbine experience
- Knowledge of financial analysis/ management
- Strong communication skills
- Operations or engineering background within the gas turbine field preferred
- Degree in business preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude
