This is an Aftermarket based position within Module Center Engineering based at Columbus Engine Center (CEC) in Columbus, Georgia and in support of Pratt & Whitney's commercial engines aftermarket ramp-up. You will work with the ELMT Mechanical Systems-Externals-Nacelles (MSEN)  leads,  CEC Engineering and shop floor mechanics/inspectors on a daily basis.  You will work regularly with the Component Aftermarket Integrated Product Team's (CAIPT) based in Connecticut.  You will be responsible for driving and delivering technical solutions to minimize engine shop visit disassembly-assembly-test (DAT) turn-around-time (TAT) to prevent/mitigate engine work stops. As the ELMT MSEN focal, you will focus on all MSEN hardware, working with multiple CIPTs from the PW1000G family. 

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Supporting engine investigations
  • Facilitating the closure of EagleNet cases
  • Minimizing shop workscope.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • You are graduating in Dec 2019 or May 2020
  • You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, technical writing and engineering presentations
  • Ability to focus on results with the ability to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Interest in learning about and growing in an Aftermarket environment
