Principal Responsibilities;
Assist in all areas of coating applications and processes. Follow work procedures and processes to ensure coated product meets or exceeds customer requirements. Participate in root cause and corrective action team meetings. Provide expert knowledge in coating applications. Operate complex coating systems utilizing Fanuc robotics equipment.

  • Prepare and mix coatings and primers, paints and coatings to proper consistency and viscosity, using thinners, solvents, additives, and agitators as required, select pressures, nozzles, oven temperatures, and cure times.
  • Work from Complex blueprints, specifications, work instructions, dimensions, color, mixing charts, and tables, verbal and written instruction/information.
  • Prepare and clean items and surfaces to be coated per procedure. Mask, plug, surfaces not to be coated.
  • Uniformly apply wet primers, paints, specialty coatings, to complex parts and other items using care to avoid spraying/coating to obtain a smooth and even surface free of runs and this spots. Repeat spray operations as necessary to obtain desired thickness and surface finish.
  • Visually and mechanically check finished items for runs, holes, bare spots, proper coverage. Refinish and touch up as necessary.
  • Prepare and coat sample pieces as required.
  • Ensure the proper movement of finished goods to shipping and receiving; cleaning and maintenance of spray equipment including robot, paint system, filter media according to established work instructions.
  • Verify and ensure that all painting supplies are on hand and readily available.
  • Work with team to put out a superior quality product.
  • Interact with different departments to assure the best possible customer service

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship is required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • one plus year in demonstrated skills in coating application and processes or equivalent experience in manufacturing
  • Strong work ethic​
  • Organized and good with details
  • Quick learner, self-starter
  • ​Reliable, punctual, and flexible
  • ​Computer skills advantageous
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • ​Ability to work overtime
  • Education/Certifications
  • You have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience/Qualifications
  • A&P License or two years meaningful experience preferred.
  • Turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines:
  • Disassembly
  • Inspection
  • Assembly
  • Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues
  • proficiency in Microsoft office Suite
  • Jet engine mechanic experience preferred.
  • FAA Safety Sensitive Position
