Hot Section Engineering (HSE) at Pratt & Whitney is currently looking for a motivated and talented Intern in Project to join our West Palm Beach team in support of commercial and military gas turbine engines.  In HSE, we are responsible for the development of engine components ranging from the combustor, to turbine rotors and airfoils, to major structural cases which operate at substantially elevated temperatures.

This intern will provide support on a variety of engineering tasks within the Project Engineering group. Individually, the intern level project engineer will be tasked with project management activities such as budget and schedule planning, IPT meeting coordination, project qualification or development testing, and hardware procurement coordination. The candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team, execute engineering standard work, and drive tasks to meet program milestones.

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?

  • You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
  • Fields of study: BS or MS degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
  • You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Candidates currently in their sophomore and junior years of an undergraduate program are encouraged to apply. Students in graduate programs are also eligible.
  • US Citizenship due to export controls
