As a Materials Engineering intern you will become part of an alloys development team working on engine safety, production support, technology development, and other business needs. You will support senior engineers in program execution through alloy characterization and development work that can take on many forms, such as process modeling, mechanical testing, and microstructural characterization. You will leverage new software tools and application to standardize and optimize our existing processes. You will work with multi-functional teams including Materials Development, Manufacturing, Design, Structures and Lifing Disciplines. Finally, you will exercise automony and be responsible for meeting schedule milestones and reporting progress to management.
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
- US Citizenship is required due to government contracts . (Include this if US citizenship is required for your position. If not, remove this bullet point. )
- You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
- Fields of study: (list relevant majors for this position)
- You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
- You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
