Job Responsibilities: Interns

Pratt and Whitney, a subsidiary of UTC, is a world leader in the design, manufacture and support of engines for commercial, military and regional aircraft.  The aerothermal group is looking for talented engineering students to work within the aero-thermal system discipline dealing with engine cooling systems and component thermal design. Candidates should have completed studies of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics experience with heat transfer is considered a plus. 

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?

  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts . (Include this if US citizenship is required for your position. If not, remove this bullet point. )
  • You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
  • Fields of study: Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
  • You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
  • You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

How about any of these Preferred Qualifications?
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and consistent record of collaboration, flexibility, innovation and initiative
  • Interest in the Aerothermal Fluids detailed analysis of gas turbines with good communication and solid technical skills.
