The Pratt & Whitney Engineering organization is focused on delivering customer requirements, advancing market-differentiating technologies, leading continuous improvement and developing technical leadership.
The Pratt & Whitney Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) engineering module center is seeking qualified candidates for the role Project Engineering Intern. MSEN is responsible for design, validation, manufacture, and delivery of the majority of engine hardware. This includes:
The selected candidate will be in a fast-paced environment, working with experienced project engineers on various tasks supporting operational engines and engines in development; The individual will learn about what is required in the overall engineering project management process. The selected candidate will work with experienced project engineers.
Key projects & responsibilities:
- Project Coordination including identifying work breakdown & task list creation, communication, meeting scheduling, and record keeping.
- Project management of one or more small scale, short-term engineering projects.
- Report development, project setup & progress.
- US Citizenship is required due to government contracts .
- You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program. Fields of study:
- You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
- You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and consistent record of collaboration, flexibility, innovation and initiative
- You have a real passion for learning and pursuing a career in project engineering
