The Senior Manager, Development Programs is responsible for leadership of Hot Section Module Center (HSMC) resources and managing capacity requirements in manufacturing development of new products, across internal module center business units as well as temporary vendor assist.

The candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership, interpersonal and team skills, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business requirements. Additionally, we will be looking for individuals with strong business acumen, manufacturing proficiency, and the ability to develop and insert new technologies into the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead HSMC manufacturing engineering and operations resources in development of new commercial and military products in alignment with Component Integrated Product Teams, Program Office and Production Chiefs.
  • Assess and align manufacturing operations capacity to meet development program requirements, while continuing daily production operations. This will include utilization and assessment of Temporary Vendor Assists and other PW Module Centers where necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate development program manufacturing risks to ensure program deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Serve as HSMC focal for all Development Program leadership briefings.
  • Ensure MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) aligns to Program requirements as hardware transitions from development to production across all of HSMC.
  • Identify capital requirements and implementation plans to support technology insertion, manufacturing automation and capacity for future programs in collaboration with manufacturing engineering and operations teams.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or similar degree
  • 10 or more years of experience in operations, manufacturing engineering or similar experience
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or similar discipline
  • 15 or more years of experience in operations, manufacturing engineering or similar experience
  • Aerospace Industry
  • Craft clear communication
  • Project management skills
