Pratt & Whitney - Columbus Forge, a recognized leader in producing major rotating components and air foils for the aerospace propulsion market, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. Responsibilities

o   Meet business metrics goals as defined for each cell (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Environmental Health and Safety, ACE, Employee Fulfillment)

o   Develop and Implement root cause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained Implement ACE and Lean Strategies to improve Quality, reduce process time and reduce operational costs Ensure that all employees adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures

o   You will ensure that all assigned employees have current development plans and performance reviews

o   Coach employees in team development and motivational strategies

o   Demonstrates commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities

o   Mange all aspects of assigned hourly workforce: time & attendance, time off, rewards, discipline process, training, communications, etc.

o   Develop and execute the schedules/plans including contingency plans

o   Define and Implement plans to support the objectives of the business including Quality, ACE, Employee Fulfillment, and Financial Metrics

o   Administer Pratt and Whitneyâ€s policies and procedures to ensure compliance and equitable treatment for all employees

o   Ensure all assigned personnel adhere to all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety procedures

o   Conduct performance and skill review processes for assigned employees

o   Identify and resolve process improvement opportunities to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs

o   Leverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace air foils

Basic Qualifications

o   This role require a Bachelorâ€s degree

o   A minimum of 5+ years†Supervisory experience in operations

o   U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred qualifications:

o    Experience in management to include manufacturing operations, with a focus on metal forming, engine technology and/or automotive, with aerospace preferred.  Proven ability to interface across organizations for a common goal.

o    Proficient PC Skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software preferred. (Specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Outlook)

o    Strong organizational, project management planning and financial skills

o    Craft clear communication

o    Adaptable as situations require

o    Analytical Skills

o    Creative troubleshooting skills

o    Possess exceptional people, team building and interpersonal skills.
