Receive-in and inspect non-product items for accuracy.
â€¢Comply with all training required, including warehouse procedures in receiving, receive-in inspection and materials handling procedures.
â€¢Work with the materials organization to troubleshoot materials issues.
â€¢Maintain warehouse locations to ensure parts accuracy and accountability.
â€¢Maintain warehouse inventory system for accurate up to date information.
â€¢Assist with resolution of obsolete material.
â€¢Assign in-coming non-product items to the appropriate warehouse location to ensure quality requirements are met.
â€¢Communicate with suppliers for on-time delivery of material for planned and emergency repairs of equipment.
â€¢Create requisitions for POâ€s to obtain necessary MRO supplies.
â€¢Maintain various reports included but not limited to: stock-outs, overdue vendor, price variance.
â€¢Work standard Material Requirement Planning (MRP) reports.
â€¢Engage in inventory optimization to allow success of production goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings.
â€¢Identify critical use items.
â€¢Identify, recommend, locate and obtain items that should be stocked in crib as spare parts.
â€¢Maintain clear communication lines between warehouse and end-user regarding inventory.
â€¢ Monitor vendors that support internal maintenance.
â€¢Perform and assist in warehouse logistics.
â€¢Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, complete all required training and supporting all applicable committee activities. â€¢Ability to prioritize and utilize time efficiently with minimal direction.
- Experience working in a quality or manufacturing background for more than 5 years preferred.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and quality procedures.
- Candidate must possess exceptional people and communication skills.
- Overtime may be needed.
- Candidate must be willing to work an alternate work week, as demand requires.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- Be able to handle multi-tasking duties.
- Candidate will be required to successfully pass annual vision screening.
- Candidate must be able to follow written/verbal procedures and instructions.
- Follow all (EH&S) Environmental Health & Safety rules and guidelines.
- Support ACE and continuous improvement.
- Possess good people, communication skills and organizational skills
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Two-year associateâ€s degree or work related experience required.
0-2 years experience in quality/manufacturing environment
High School diploma or GED
1-2 yearsâ€ experience in quality/manufacturing environment.
Proficient with the following computer software:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and a general understanding of quality procedures.
Able to follow written/verbal procedures and instructions.
Possess good organizational skills. Follow all EH&S rules and guidelines.
Support ACE and continuous improvement.
Possess good people and communication skills.
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Preferred: short specialized machining training.
