The Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) engineering module is responsible for design, validation, manufacture, and delivery of the majority of engine hardware. This includes nacelle and thrust reverser systems, external tubes, components, and ducts, and the bearing compartment. Externals is seeking an Entry Level Project Engineer to support the Operational Military program. This team features highly motivated individuals who lead, strive to go above and beyond, are continuous learners, and display integrity in their day-to-day work.

As an Entry Level Associate Externals Project Engineer, you will participate in activities that further success of overall project activities. Organizes data and prepares, maintains and develops recommendations for plans and progress reports to monitor project progress. Escalates problems as needed and works to complete project tasks. Your goal is to achieve the technical, cost, and schedule requirements for the product.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Estimates costs, resources, and time required to complete projects to ensure business targets are met.
• Gathers data to monitor projects' progress in terms of cost, schedule and technical specifications to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved.
• Prepares plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to ensure that established targets are met.
• Escalates project problems and develops recommendations for solutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Responsible for project assignments with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
• Coordinates all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Presents progress reports to customers and management.

• Review, process, and implementation of engineering changes.
• Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering


Basic Qualifcations:

  • BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required
  • U. S Citizenship required due to government contracts
  • Currently possess or be able to obtain a government security clearance
