The principle duties of this position are to operate and set-up all conventional types of machine shop equipment and read and interpret complex work instructions and blue prints. Excellent social, planning and organizational skills are needed for a team oriented work environment.
Duties:

  • Compiles and maintains data base of inventory records of the quantity, cost, and type of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in the company. Conduct daily and quarterly inventory count as required.
  • Records receipt or disbursement of inventory items and computes balance, price and cost.
  • Compares inventory records against physical count of inventory; investigates inaccuracies and reports findings to supervisor.
  • Investigates and recommends options for defective or unusable items.
  • Will be available to stock and issue materials or merchandise.
  • Monitor and maintain company internal inventory tracking system.
  • Perform Cycle counts within the HSMC yearly requirements.
  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
  • Proficient in shop flow and WIP management.
  • Assist Materials management as a resource of effective problem solving across the department.
  • Assist the Shipping and Receiving department to support customer demand.
  • Aged WIP tracking and resolution.
  • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop oneâ€s skills.
  • We perform job in compliance with all environmental, health, and safety rules, procedures and policies.
  • You will complete tasks at the highest level of safety awareness
Education / Certifications
  • High School Diploma
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
  • 3 mos experience in a manufacturing environment, or technical training, or prior military
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow standard work
  • Strong computer background
  • Detail Oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Solumina
  • Able to load and unload material using the EHS required material handling devices
