You will be responsible for ensuring the calibration of all tools, gages, fixtures, etc. are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with all procedures and regulations. You are organized with a strong math/technical background.

Job Description
Typical tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Clean and process a variety of power plant parts through various baths and solutions to prepare them for inspection.
  • Review work instructions, Repair Operations requirements and blueprints.
  • Refer problems to working leader/supervisor as appropriate to resolve difficulties.
  • May be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual's skills.
  • This position performs Safety Sensitive Work (FAA)
Required qualifications
  • High School or General Equivalency Diploma
  • 1 - 3 years of non-destructive testing, quality control or related experience.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Preferred qualifications:
  • Training/Certification in SNT-TC-1A, NAS 410, NDTQ or equivalent completed to Level I requirements preferred.
  • Job requires self-motivated individual who is able to adapt quickly to various job requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
