The Pratt & Whitney Engineering organization is focused on delivering customer requirements, advancing market-differentiating technologies, leading continuous improvement and developing technical leadership.
The candidate will manage product engineering related to Aerodynamics/ Aeronautics, Thermodynamics, Aero Thermal analysis, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, Aero Mechanics, and Acoustics. Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircrafts and parts. Establishes specifications, performs analysis, and conducts performance tests. Predicts new and derivative noise levels and designs elements of vehicles and systems to ensure compliance with noise regulations, specifications and guarantee requirements. Includes aerodynamics, stability and control, flutter and vibration, landing loads, aircraft or system structures, hydrodynamics, propulsion system, fuels and combustion, aero-acoustics, aero-mechanics, heat transfer and instrumentation.

- Thermal analysis via data and modeling

- Thermo-acoustics analysis via data and modeling
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
- You're in an accredited four year degree program and are entering or currently in your last year.
- Fields of study are: Aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace or thermo-fluids
- You are graduating by Summer 2020
- You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

- Entry-level Co-op/internship experience
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills and proven track record of collaboration, adaptability, innovation and initiative
- You demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- You must demonstrate a high degree of adaptability
