Key projects & responsibilities:
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines. Liaises between project management and planning, project teams, and line management. Prepares proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Reviews project and budget status, manages schedules and prepares reports. Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Represents UTC as the primary customer contact for projects. Directs the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Responsible for procurement of appropriate development hardware used for testing and development. Meets program schedules and budgets and provides input to the integrated master schedules for project(s).
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
- US Citizenship is required due to government contracts .
- You're in an accredited four year degree program and are entering or currently in your last year.
- Fields of study are: Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
- You are graduating in Dec 2019 or May 2020
- You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
How about any of these Preferred Qualifications?
- Entry-level Co-op/internship experience
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills and proven track record of collaboration, adaptability, innovation and initiative
- You demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
