We design, manufacture and service aircraft engines, auxiliary and ground power units, and small turbojet propulsion products. Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions provides aftermarket parts support from its headquarters in Muskegon, Michigan. As an Account Representative PDC in the Parts Distribution Center, you'll have responsibility for the following:

Responsible for producing sales results with assigned customers Logs sales calls and customer interactions Monitors assigned customer transactions and quotes on a daily basis Complies with Parts Distribution Department standard work Submits purchase requisitions Understands customer trends and updates the daily sales forecast Reviews RMA (Return Material Authorizations) requests Responds to all reports/actions within required timeframe Reviews all receiving shelves that pertain to the Business Segment Monitors and maintains action plans for all assigned customers Ensures hot sheets/status reports are reviewed and submitted per customer requirements Monitors and performs consignment reconciliation & inventory levels for assigned customers Prepares and sends core disposition notices to customers Flows down contractual and/or customer requirements to all affected parties Establishes KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to monitor customer health and reports performance to assigned manager Employs the ACE tools to drive continuous improvement and insures that standard work is current Understands the needs of the customer by maintaining full visibility of customer activities on a rolling basis including, but not limited to: RMAs, disputes, shortages, RAILs, conference call coordination, gathering and reporting via scorecards/dashboards Ensures timely response to operational needs and administrative tasks through guidance of team members Positively endorses the company position and products when faced with an adverse or negative situation with the customer Maintains a high standard of etiquette and protocol with the customer

Other Duties
Handles varied customer requests or issues in a timely manner Travels as required Miscellaneous duties and assignments

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • US Person

Preferred Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years customer account management experience preferred
  • The appropriate candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal and craft clear communication
  • Ability to build positive relationships
  • Experience building customer relationships and fostering sales
  • Strong business acumen
  • Follow-up and follow-through skills with the ability to problem solve
  • A working knowledge of SAP
  • Attention to detail
