A phenomenal opportunity exists to join us in the role of Aerospace Production Supervisor / Cell Leader at our PSD, Springdale, Arkansas facility.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

You will lead a team of 10-15 employees on first shift, 5x8 work-week. This position reports to and collaborates with the site's Operations Manager. You'll be tasked with meeting EHS, customer, quality, delivery, and financial goals within the facility, as well as set operational direction on case repair completion, training plans, production scheduling, project implementation, continuous improvement, and communication with leadership and direct employees.

Key metrics you will be responsible for are: case delivery to both internal and external customers, EH&S performance, labor hours / cost reduction, and workforce development.

You'll adopt embrace the ACE Operating System (continuous improvement) and thrive in a team environment with high performance expectations.

•Allocating work to employees

•Strong leadership focus on continuous improvement, Quality, and EH&S initiatives

•Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on team building through weekly toolbox meetings, monthly All Hands meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and change

•Establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities

•Work dedicatedly to address issues and engage the workforce in achieving cell goals

•Communicate to peers requirements at supporting process to ensure smooth process flow

•Hold employees accountable while maintaining a key working relationship

•Ensure World-class safety and quality culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S and Quality requirements promptly -

•Ensure full involvement in ACE continuous improvement initiatives - utilize ACE tools to improve production, performance, and reduce scrap, rework, and repair.

•Control quality, productivity and process flow to meet COPQ requirements while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

•You're a highly motivated individual who enjoys operating in a dynamic environment and who enjoys the challenges of process improvement and "lean" manufacturing initiatives.

Education

•BA/BS degree in related field (i.e. Supply Chain, Management, Quality, Engineering, Operations) is required.

Basic Qualifications:

•Minimum 1-3 years of Management/Operations experience is a requirement.

•At least 2 years of experience using confident social skills experience required: ability to present concepts, obtain information and work with cross-functional teams, excellent oral and written skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management and communicate effectively with peers, customers and clients.

•Drive obligations to closure with precision to benefit the organization and every constituent.

•Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g. lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC)

•Proven leadership skills with direct supervisory experience

•Success working in a high energy and fast paced manufacturing environment with the ability to adapt to changing business conditions.

•You are collaborative with excellent social skills.

•You can plan projects and to use written/verbal/analytical/organizational skills to influence business objectives.

•You should be highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results.

•You have strong leadership, communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

•Turbine engine overhaul and repair or related experience is highly desired, as well as, logistical, materials management, and financial experience.

•MS Office programs proficiency.
