The 30K Program Industrial team represents all of production operations to the program office and also represents the program office to all of operations. In this wide ranging capacity the organization is also responsible for representing operations to both our airframe customers, Airbus & Irkut, as well as our program partners such as MTU, IHI, MHI, GKN, etc. The Performance Improvement Program (PIP) is an exciting evolution of the 30K product family to further improve the fuel efficiency, performance, and life of the product. This is a significant multiple engine development program targeting production EIS in 2022 and has implications for industrial operations in almost every area. The 30K Program Industrial organization has an opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong technical and operations background to support the 30K PIP Program Industrial Associate Director to represent all operations industrial areas for the 30K PIP program. This 30K PIP Program Industrial Manager role will interface with the program's manager, chief engineer, CIPT's, and supporting operations groups. This role will manage all incorporation plans supporting the transition from the current 30K product configuration to the new PIP configuration for both neo and Irkut platforms. They will define, communicate, refine, and ultimately drive these incorporation plans through the operations organizations as well as interacting with airframe critical customers on a regular basis to ensure cross company awareness and alignment. The performance of the individual in this role and their ability to define achievable production incorporation plans, identify and mitigate risks, and ultimately drive successful execution will directly impact the future of the 30K GTF both for P&W and also for our customers.
Responsibilities of this role shall include but not be limited to:
Communicates EDP risk to program and operations leadership and drives improvements from CIPTs
A successful candidate will be detail and results oriented with good problem solving skills, able to meet commitments, and balance to resolve conflicting priorities. Understanding strategic and business implications and working to provide solutions will be critical. Must have demonstrated experience working with executive level management and be a high energy - dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement. Final job grade will be determined based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate selected.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Operations.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in Operations, Engineering or Program Office.
- US Person
- Master's Degree n Engineering or Operations
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Operations, Engineering or Program Office.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Self-motivated and detailed, project management oriented.
