Nacelles and Engine Integration is seeking a Nacelle Systems Design Integration Engineer, responsible for the development and integration of Nacelle Ventilation, Thermal and Fire Safety requirements within the Next Generation Product Family Propulsion System. In this role the you will lead the development of the Nacelle Ventilation, Thermal and Fire Safety System Analysis, coordinating between a wide range of disciplines within PW, Nacelle suppliers, and customers, and lead key initiatives as required.
Typical duties include:
- Lead Nacelle Ventilation / Thermal Integrated Product Team.
- Interpret customer specifications and regulatory requirements in relation to Nacelle System Ventilation, Thermal and Fire Safety.
- Ensure specifications and requirements are understood and flowed to Nacelle suppliers.
- Interface with Nacelle suppliers to ensure compliance to specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Review Nacelle Ventilation, Thermal and Fire Safety analysis reports and provide feedback.
- Support design reviews.
- Support Validation and Certification plans.
- Oversee and communicate resolution of technical issues between customer, PW and Nacelle supplier.
- Lead special projects as required.
- Develop Standard Work.
A bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required
A bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
3+ years of engineering experience
US Citizenship Required due to government contracts
3+ years of experience in thermal management, ventilation systems, data analysis, design support, establishing requirements, and supplier specifications
