CSMC is seeking an NC programmer to join our fast-growing Manufacturing Engineering Team. The business unit produces complex major rotating components for the Geared Turbofan and JSF engine programs, and implements new emerging technologies on state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. The NC programming position requires ability to support various machine tools, with emphasis on multi-axis machining centers. In addition, this position could also support additional supplier start-ups as well as new state of the art capital equipment installation. You will take the initiative to plan, create, develop and implement program and associated processes on CNC/NC controlled equipment. Strong mentors will be available to develop NC programming skills. You will own programs through implementation into production and provided necessary support through the development and production cycle. US Citizenship required.
Required Qualifications -
- Master's Degree with 3+ years of programming experience, Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of programming experience, Associate's Degree with 7+ years of programming experience or, in lieu of a degree, 11+ years of programming experience
Preferred Qualifications -
- Proven experience with graphic programming, part modeling, and program simulation software, including but not limited to Unigraphics (NX9+), UG Mill, NREC, Vericut and be familiar with process monitoring software.
- Machining, NC Grinding experience, Millturn multi-axis machining
- Ability to learn and adapt to new programming software's, codes and analytical tools.
- Manufacturing/Aerospace experience
