Certified FAA repair station is seeking a NAS 410 qualified level II or Level III inspector in FPI and MPI methods.
Eddy Current Inspections skills are also desirable but not required.
The job duties will include performing level II FPI and MPI inspections on aircraft turbine engine parts, the operation and maintenance of the NDT equipment, operation and maintenance other special processes used within the facility (cleaning and part preservation process for example), light machining operations, and be able to obtain an FAA 14 CFR part 65 repairman certificate for certain return to service duties.
Additional duties may be required as needed.
Some travel and overtime is required.
Have the required time and training to meet the level II or III requirements for FPI and MPI per NAS 410.
Meet the eligibility requirements to obtain a FAA part 65 repairman certificate once the company provide training and experience are met.
Able to read, understand, and apply complex technical instructions.â€<

The selected candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment FAA drug screen (and negative results received) prior to the candidate being placed in this new position.
- Vision Program - This position is covered under the PWES Vision program, and the selected candidate will be a participate in this program
- Hearing Conservation â€" This position is covered under the PWES Hearing Conservation program and the selected candidate will be a participant in this program.
High school diploma or GED
US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Have held a Level II or Level lll certification FPI and/or MPI per NAS 410
Able to read, understand, and apply complex technical instructions.
Experience with light machining operations, and be able to obtain an FAA 14 CFR part 65 repairman certificate for certain return to service duties.
